In 2015, I received a BFA in Communication Design from the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis.
After graduation, I ate way too many chocolate bars while living in Zurich, Switzerland, where I completed a three-month contract position at the digital agency ICON Worldwide.
From there, I moved to New York City and launched Snapchat Discover channels for SELF Magazine and Teen Vogue while working for Condé Nast.
And after spending enough time in NYC to know that every city-dweller needs a good pair of walking shoes, I decided to brave the cold weather of Boston and accepted a position with New Balance, helping to produce creative across all major social media platforms.
Today, I fully embrace the hyphenation life as a designer-illustrator-animator-social-media-creator who creates content for Google’s owned and operated platforms — including the @Google social media channels, the Keyword blog and About.Google — from Washington D.C.
When not sitting at a computer, you can find me: hosting an Instagram Story series called “K.So,” where a friend and I review queso (it makes more sense if you say it out loud), going for a long walk around town, writing to my pen pal of 20 years, or needlepointing while watching a Bravo show.
